Permaculture Design

Permaculture Design

We use permaculture design strategies to integrate landscapes and gardens with the natural features of the wider landscape, and build in resilience and sustainability.

Depending on your vision we can design and advise on:

  • Ponds, dams and water harvesting techniques
  • Roads, access tracks, and paths
  • Siting of house platforms, outbuildings, and shelter
  • Productive and ecologically rich planting schemes, wind break and shelter
  • Habitat creation and attracting beneficial insects and birds to your garden
  • Building healthy soils rich in beneficial life enhancing fungi and bacteria
  • Problem soils and polluted ground

Permaculture is a design science that makes the least change for the greatest effect, benefiting people, ecology and landscape in a balanced natural system.

Guy Redmond studied permaculture design with Patrick Whitefield in 1996; and again in 2012 with Geoff Lawton.  For 20 years we have used these design principles in all of our work.

We can guide you to read your own landscape and make the most of its unique qualities.
